Since returning to the NBA, Carmelo Anthony has been able to more appropriately put a cap on a storybook career. This summer, the Portland Trail Blazers forward plans to tell a more literal story with the announcement of his new memoir, “Where Tomorrows Aren’t Promised,” set to release on Sept. 14, 2021.
As Anthony details in the video, this book will be less about Anthony the electric scorer and future Hall of Famer and more about overcoming his the dangerous upbringing in Red Hook, Brooklyn, the pressures that come with that environment, the grief of losing loved ones, the love and support that molded him, and his mental fortitude for said situations.
