Ben Taylor of Thinking Basketball had some very high praise for Portland Trail Blazers wing Toumani Camara in a recent YouTube video, comparing him to a certain Blazers’ legend (who also played for the Chicago Bulls, I’m told):
It’s Toumani’s exact combination of size, length, and athleticism that reminds me of another number 33 who used to occasionally foil great big min, while stifling point guards and just causing general havoc on the defensive end of the floor. Scottie Pippen is often thought of as a perfect side kick - an offensive Robin to Michael Jordan’s Batman.
