The Portland Trail Blazers welcomed guard Shaedon Sharpe back to the roster this week after a shoulder injury kept him absent for the start of the 2024-25 NBA season. Since Sharpe is a scorer and the Blazers lack offense (and since he’s been tabbed as a potential future star for the team) it’s reasonable to assume that he will find a semi-permanent place in the starting lineup.
That’s going to displace one of Portland’s early-season starters, however. Deni Avdija and Toumani Camara have been manning the wing spots all year. Both defend well. Avdija is a playmaker and pace-pusher, a secondary point guard on the floor.
