Portland Trail Blazers forward Toumani Camara has been named the Western Conference Defensive Player of the Month for February, the NBA announced on social media. Cleveland Cavaliers center Evan Mobley took home the honor for the Eastern Conference.
Camara spearheaded a Blazers defense that ranked No. 4 in the NBA in defensive rating at 109.2 through February while posting an 8-4 record. The second-year forward ranked No. 4 in the West with 2.0 steals per game, and he was the only player in the conference with over 50 rebounds, 20 steals and 10 blocks during the month.
