The NBA has announced that Portland Trail Blazers forward Toumani Camara finished ninth place in voting for Defensive Player of the Year, while Cleveland Cavaliers center Evan Mobley won the award.
A panel of 100 members of the media from around the world voted on their top three defenders from the 2024-2025 season. A first-place vote is worth five points, a second-place vote earns three points and a third-place vote brings in one point.
Camara received one second-place vote and one third-place vote for Defensive Player of the Year, earning four total points to finish ninth.
