The Memphis Grizzlies secured two valuable victories against the Trail Blazers over the weekend. Fourth-year guard Dillon Brooks, who dropped a combined 43 points in those two games, took a moment to reflect on the importance of that two-game outcome after Sunday’s 120-113 victory.
The Daily Memphian writer Drew Hill highlighted Brooks’ comments after the game. According to Brooks, the Grizzlies are focused on completing a three-game sweep of the Blazers after Portland dispatched Memphis from the bubble last year.
“These games meant a lot,” Grizzlies guard Dillon Brooks said. “I don’t think they thought we remembered what happened in the bubble.
