The Eastern Conference is shaking up on Saturday morning, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Toronto Raptors are finalizing a trade to send OG Anunoby to the New York Knicks for a package including RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley and draft considerations, sources tell ESPN.
The Knicks are also getting big man Precious Achiuwa and point guard Malachi Flynn from the Raptors in the deal.
Anunoby, 26, is averaging 15.1 points per game for the Raptors this season while shooting 37.4 percent from behind the 3-point line.
Considering the fact that Anunoby was once coveted by the Portland Trail Blazers and his asking price was multiple first-round picks, it’s somewhat of a surprise on the surface that he was only traded for a single second-round pick.
