Weeks of deliberation and proposals of various ways to restart the 2019-20 season led to the NBA’s Board of Governors approving a 22-team return-to-play plan on Thursday. The board voted 29-1 in favor of the proposal, however the Portland Trail Blazers were the only franchise to vote against the plan, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Details about the NBA’s restart plan emerged on Wednesday, which includes regular season games and a possible play-in tournament to determine the eighth seed in each conference.
