The offseason has hit a quiet stage for the Portland Trail Blazers. Despite the best efforts of NBA rumors, articles and social media comments suggesting the Blazers make another trade before the season starts, starters Anfernee Simons and Jerami Grant remain on the roster.
However, the offseason isn’t over yet, and the articles and rumors likely will continue to trickle in. In the latest example, Bleacher Report’s Greg Swartz wrote about the top five players under 25 in need of a trade, with Simons topping the list.
Swartz argued Portland’s prioritization of a future with young guards Scoot Henderson and Shaedon Sharpe created too much positional overlap for a future with Simons.
