The Portland Trail Blazers have waived guard Devonte’ Graham, the team announced on Thursday afternoon.
The Blazers had signed Graham, 29, to a non-guaranteed one-year deal in July, giving him a chance to compete for a roster spot during the preseason. Graham appeared in two of Portland’s first three preseason games. In 27 minutes of game action over those two games, Graham registered two points, five assists and three rebounds while shooting 0-5 from the field.
In Portland’s preseason home opener against German club Ratiopharm Ulm on Wednesday night, head coach Chauncey Billups didn’t put Graham in the game.
