The Portland Trail Blazers had been on a bit of a dream ride lately, but they were snapped out of it by the Boston Celtics. The Celtics demonstrated that there are levels to ball movement, and the Blazers aren’t currently on that level. The result was an aerial assault from beyond the arc that led to a 129-116 victory for the Celtics.
It doesn’t get any easier for the Blazers. The Cleveland Cavaliers come to Portland tonight boasting the best record in the East, and a string of recent losses has them motivated to right the ship. The Blazers can take some comfort in knowing that they took the Cavaliers to the limit when these two teams played in Cleveland on March 2nd.
