Justin Minaya will sign a two-way contract to return to the Portland Trail Blazers, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Minaya, a 25-year-old 6’5” wing, went undrafted in 2022. He signed a 10-day contract in April 2023 with the Blazers, then returned last season to appear in 34 games. He also played in nine games for the Blazers’ G-League Affiliate, the Rip City Remix.
The Blazers now have 15 players under contract with the addition of Minaya’s two-way deal. NBA rules permit team to have 15 players under contract, but up to 18 with the addition of a trio of two-way deals.
