The Portland Trail Blazers have a crowded center rotation, and they could look to make a move to free up some playing time for others.
Bleacher Report writer Grant Hughes proposes a deal between the Blazers and Memphis Grizzlies that sends backup center Robert Williams III away from the pacific northwest for power forward Brandon Clarke and two second-round picks.
But the Grizzlies are giving up their own damaged goods in Clarke—an undersized big who got by on elite athleticism before tearing his Achilles late in the 2022-23 campaign.
His contract runs one season longer than Williams’, but is an almost identical match on an annual-salary basis.
