After declining to pick up his second year option with the Los Angeles Lakers, Ed Davis decided to sign a 3-year 20 million dollar contract with the Portland Trail Blazers. While playing for the ‘City of Angels’, Davis brought efficient scoring and rebounding from near the basket.
This is the fourth team that Davis has played for in his seven-year career. Although he’s had better seasons with other franchises, he was very productive for the Blazers and provided valuable bench depth. Davis finished third in double-doubles for the Blazers and cracked the top 20 in offensive rebounds per game in the entire league.
