Back in 2019, the Trail Blazers lost to the Nuggets in Denver by 26 points in Game 5 to go down 3-2 in the Western Conference Semifinals. But the Blazers would regroup back in Portland to take Game 6, and eventually the series.
Two years later, find themselves in the same situation, which means they’ll need to do the same thing versus the same opponent in the same location if they want to keep their season alive.
Down 3-2, the Trail Blazers will face elimination when they host the Nuggets in Game 6 Thursday night at Moda Center.
