The Portland Trail Blazers are rumored to be sellers in the 2025 NBA Trade market, going nowhere fast and holding onto at least a couple of marketable veteran players. But according to Brett Siegel of Clutchpoints, the Blazers aren’t exactly enthusiastic about trading away one of the players drawing the most interest this winter, center Robert Williams III.
Siegel cites sources detailing Portland’s purposes for the 6’9 center:
Since the offseason, Williams has generated a lot of trade buzz due to his ability to play above the rim in pick-and-roll scenarios, as well as be an All-Defensive type of center when he is healthy.
