The Portland Trail Blazers came into their Sunday afternoon game versus the Oklahoma City Thunder winners of four straight. On paper the game was a mismatch; Oklahoma City had 36 wins, the Blazers just 17. Portland made a nice run of it, raining down destruction from the three-point arc and staying within a few possessions of the Thunder for most of the day. In the end, 35 points from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander proved too much for Portland to overcome. Oklahoma City prevailed in a 118-108 victory, sending the Blazers to a 17-28 record, 9-12 at home on the season.
