Portland Trail Blazers point guard Scoot Henderson came into the NBA with a lot of upside as the No. 3 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.
While he didn’t quite live up to the hype immediately in his rookie year, he comes into his second season with a lot to like.
ESPN analyst Jeremy Woo listed Henderson as the fifth-most interesting sophomore going into the new season.
In theory, things should get much easier for Henderson as he gains experience. Last season’s struggles will put him under the microscope, but he has the strength and speed to be a difference-maker at point guard.
