Former All-Star big man Kevin Love and the Cleveland Cavaliers appear ready to part ways. According to San Francisco Chronicle writer Rusty Simmons, Love could reach a buyout agreement with the Cavs.
“There is growing sentiment around the league that Love will negotiate a buyout with Cleveland and sign a veteran-minimum contract with a contender, with one of the options being the Warriors.”
If a buyout agreement is reached, the Trail Blazers are positioned to be on a list of potential landing spots for Love. Editor of Fear The Sword and co-host of Locked on Cavs Evan Dammarell explained that the Nets, Blazers and Warriors are expected to pursue Love.
