The Trail Blazers suffered another loss and another injury to a starter on Friday. In the second quarter of Portland’s 120-112 loss to the Dallas Mavericks, CJ McCollum exited in the second quarter with an injury to his left ankle.
After the game, McCollum shared his thoughts with The Oregonian’s Jamie Goldberg.
“It’s tough,” McCollum said. “Injuries are part of the game. It’s unfortunate that I was next up on the list. We just got to try to battle and fight through it, next man up. This was a winnable game tonight.
