The Portland Trail Blazers couldn’t complete a late comeback over the Indiana Pacers tonight, falling short, 121-114, to end a five-game road trip. Despite a flurry of late threes, the Blazers couldn’t close the gap, especially with poor free-throw shooting that would’ve helped make the game even closer down the stretch.
Portland was led in scoring by Anfernee Simons who had 30 points, including a massive 16-point third quarter that helped the Blazers stay afloat despite poor shooting from everyone else that period. Simons was flanked by 17 points apiece from Shaedon Sharpe and Scoot Henderson. Henderson also added nine assists while turning the ball over just once.
