It took most of the night, but the Portland Trail Blazers eventually overcame the injury-ravaged New Orleans Pelicans for a 118-100 victory Monday night. The obviously-tired Pelicans, who played the night before and tipped off at a late 8:30pm local time, ran out of energy in the fourth, and the Blazers danced by them for an easy win that looked in doubt for a while.
