Continuing a cross-country trek across the souther half of the United States, the Portland Trail Blazers (30-37) look to string together back-to-back road wins by paying the Atlanta Hawks (37-31) a visit Saturday afternoon. Atlanta claimed victory in the first meeting between to two sides back on February 13 in Portland, winning 109-104 in overtime.
The Trail Blazers ride momentum from perhaps their most substantial victory of 2016-17, a 110-106 triumph at San Antonio on Wednesday night. Damian Lillard scored 36 points in the win, while CJ McCollum added 26 of his own. Center Jusuf Nurkiu0107 scored 10 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter to help his team to victory, and Allen Crabbe chipped-in 10 points of the bench.
