Blazers Center Robert Williams III Will Miss Road Trip

Aaron Fentress of The Oregonian reports that Robert Williams III will not play any games during the current road trip due to his recent knee injury. Williams will exit the trip and return to Portland for rehabilitation. It’s expected that he’ll be reevaluated on March 8 after the current road trip ends.

Williams last played on February 20, logging 25 minutes against the Los Angeles Lakers. He’s missed three matchups, against the Charlotte Hornets, Utah Jazz and the Washington Wizards. With Deandre Ayton also missing time, Donovan Clingan has been starting at center, with Jabari Walker the primary backup.
