On Thursday they wrapped up their seven game homestand in style, beating the Sacramento Kings 108-102. Afernee Simons was the leading scorer with 30, with Shaedon Sharpe pitching in with 24. Toumani Camara made himself useful on a poor shooting night by pulling down 14 rebounds.
Now the Blazers will have to see if they can keep the magic going on the road against a solid opponent. The Minnesota Timberwolves have won 7 out of the last 9, and have aim at making up some ground on teams ahead of them in the standings.
