Ed Davis was a huge contributor to Portland’s season a year ago. His bargain contract didn’t speak to the volumes of work Davis did.
This season, that spark was gone. Davis only had 4.3 PPG and 5.3 RPG this year in 46 games.
And an injury revealed on Mar. 1st cut the former Tar Heel’s season short, but it wasn’t the first time Davis has had this happen.
At UNC, Davis suffered a broken wrist that cost him the rest of his sophomore season.
This year, he went under the knife for season-ending surgery to repair a torn labrum.
