It's not uncommon to see a few NBA stars observing each game of the Samsung Summer League in Las Vegas each year. But for the veterans on a young Trail Blazers roster, showing up to Summer League goes a long way in mentoring the team's youngest players.
Big man Ed Davis caught the Blazers' first game Saturday afternoon, while guards Damian Lillard, CJ McCollum and Allen Crabbe watched Sunday night's game courtside.
While he also took in the Lakers versus 76ers game featuring the matchup of the top two picks in the 2016 NBA Draft Saturday night, Lillard knows supporting his younger teammates sets the tone for his leadership in the season to come.
