The Portland Trail Blazers missed Shaedon Sharpe. After sitting out the season’s first 8 games due to a labral tear, he returned to the lineup and has nearly picked up where he left off last season, averaging 15.2 points on 46% shooting and taking nearly a dozen more shots in his last two games (38) than he did in his first three (27).
Sharpe’s effort hasn’t gone unnoticed by Blazers Coach Chauncey Billups, according to Aaron Fentress of The Oregonian:
“I just expect so much out of him, and we all do because he’s just good,” Billups said.
