Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups was nominated for Western Conference Coach of the Month for February, the NBA announced on social media. Billups helped guide the Blazers to an 8-4 record during the month, including four straight wins to close out the stretch.
Billups was also nominated for the award in January after coaching the Blazers to an 8-8 record.
For February, Oklahoma City Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault out of the West and Detroit Pistons head coach J.B. Bickerstaff out of the East were named coaches of the month for their respective conferences.
