Portland Trail Blazers center Deandre Ayton’s injury to his right index finger will hold him out for Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Hawks, the organization announced Sunday afternoon. The Blazers also updated Ayton’s injury diagnosis after he additional imaging.
INJURY UPDATE: Deandre Ayton underwent additional imaging on the right index finger which revealed a deep contusion of the proximal phalanx.
Ayton will be out for today’s game against Atlanta and updates will be given when appropriate.
Ayton has missed the previous two games for the Blazers after injuring his finger.
