Portland Trail Blazers forward Deni Avdija was nominated for Western Conference Player of the Week, the NBA announced on social media.
Over three games, the 6-foot-9 forward averaged 31.7 points, 13.7 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 1.3 steals while shooting 50% from the field, 33.3% from beyond the arc and 84.6% on free throws. The Blazers went 2-1 during that stretch, before winning their fourth game of the week Sunday against the San Antonio Spurs while Avdija was out of the lineup. An average of 5.0 turnovers per game was the biggest knock on Avdija’s statline during the week.
