Damian Lillard scored 40 points and Jusuf Nurkic fell two assists shy of a triple double as the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Washington Wizards by a score of 119-109 Sunday night. The Blazers led by as many as 29 in the second half and controlled the game from start to finish. The Blazer bench struggled but the starting unit kept the Wizards from every posing a serious threat.
