Outside of the two NBA Draft day acquisitions, the Portland Trail Blazers have had a relatively quiet offseason. Don’t get me wrong, Deni Avdija and Donovan Clingan are important additions that fit what this franchise is trying to do.
But with maybe one more deal to move out a veteran for younger pieces and picks, the Blazers are unlikely to add anything that seriously contributes to winning in 2024-25.
In any deal, General Manager Joe Cronin will target young players with potential and picks to replace Jerami Grant, Robert Williams III, Matisse Thybulle and/or Anfernee Simons.
