2024 Trail Blazers Media Day: Henderson, Clingan, and More

Yesterday’s Media Day for the Portland Trail Blazers included sound bites front office brass, the starters, and (included here) the Blazers’ reserves. Below find videos of the remaining five players who took the podium yesterday as they talked about their offseasons, goals for the year, and what they hope the team does in the season ahead.

Scoot Henderson opened his comments with a humorous and drawling answer about the good food he had before pivoting his thoughts to basketball:

Robert Williams III talked for just the second time since his injury early last season about what he’s done to prepare for the upcoming campaign, and that he’s in a great space mentally today:

Blazers rookie center Donovan Clingan had kind words to say about fellow big man Deandre Ayton:

Matisse Thybulle talked about not being included on Team Australia’s squad for the 2024 Olympics, and that he managed his own “sense of entitlement” in learned nothing is guaranteed:

Toumani Camara debunked the rumor that he gained 20lbs of muscle, and chatted about being grateful for the moment and embracing the experience as a new NBA player:

If you didn’t already, scope out Conor’s in-person coverage of Media Day, Dave’s observations about the event, and the responses from the Blazers’ starters.
