The 2019 NBA Draft is now only two months away, and the college basketball season is officially over. So, I have started to evaluate prospects for the upcoming draft. Let’s continue with Iowa State’s Tyrese Haliburton.
Strengths
Passing
Haliburton is a very savvy passer. He makes smart decisions with the basketball in his hands and rarely turns over the basketball. His game is oddly reminiscent of former Iowa State point guard Monte Morris.
Haliburton even broke the Iowa State single-game assists record with 17 against Southern in December.
Haliburton can run an NBA offense from day one, and that will appeal to playoff teams.
