The 2019 NBA Draft is now less than two months away, and the second round of the playoffs has begun. So, I have started to evaluate prospects for the upcoming draft. Let’s continue with LSU’s Tremont Waters.
Strengths
Playmaking
Waters averaged 5.9 assists per game at LSU, and playmaking will be his primary strength entering the league. He is able to create quality looks for his teammates, and he excels with the ball in his hands in transition.
Quick Defender
Waters averaged an outstanding 2.9 steals per game last season. He is not the best overall defender, but his quickness and instincts allow him to be effective on that end of the floor.
