Portland Trail Blazers shooting guard Wesley Matthews is one of six players who have been invited to participate in the annual three-point contest on NBA All-Star Weekend, according to a report by Yahoo Sports.
"I think it would be fun for the fans," Matthews said of possibly being in the competition. "Of course, my family would love it and everybody back home would love it. It would be something cool to do, just to compete and represent Portland and all that."
Golden State's Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, Atlanta's Kyle Korver, and the Clippers' J.J. Redick are already confirmed to be in the competition. Matthews leads the NBA in three-pointers made with 138.
