It’s a little later than expected, but the Portland Thorns finally released their 2019 NWSL roster this morning, with only a few changes from last season.
Gabby Seiler, who missed the whole 2018 season with an MCL tear, is officially a contracted player now. Bella Bixby (née Geist), after being a training player for all of last year with the club, is contracted as a supplemental player, the only one on the Thorns for now.
Caitlin Foord has earned her green card and won’t be using an international spot at the club, but as far as we know the club has only 4 visa spots, so juggling those is going to become an interesting challenge when Andressinha returns after her loan to Brazil.
