USL MATCH RECAP | Whitecaps FC 2: 0, Portland Timbers 2: 1

LANGLEY, B.C. – Playing the final game of three matches in seven days, T2 recorded their fourth shutout of the season with a 1-0 road victory over Cascadia-rival Whitecaps FC 2 at McLeod Athletic Park Saturday afternoon.

Portland midfielder Victor Arboleda recorded his fourth goal of the season, including a game-high three shots on goal, while goalkeeper Kendall McIntosh earned his first shutout of 2017, tallying six saves.

T2 (3-20-6, 15pts) scored the lone goal in the 68th minute when WFC2 goalkeeper Spencer Richey spilled the ball on the edge of the penalty area, allowing Arboleda to quickly pounce and slot the ball into the empty net.
