It’s official. Tomás Conechny’s transfer from from Superliga Argentina club San Lorenzo, is complete and he moves from his one-year loan to being full-fledged Portland Timber on a Targeted Allocation Money (TAM) contract. He occupies an international slot.
“We are extremely happy that Tomás is fully a part of the Timbers,” said Timbers coach Giovanni Savarese. “As a younger player, we are excited to continue fostering his development and his talents, as Tomás is an important part of the team in he present, and in the future.”
Conechny, now 21, is an attacking midfielder, providing depth and support to the likes of Diego Valeri and Sebastián Blanco.
