PORTLAND, Ore. – In celebration of the club’s 10th year in Major League Soccer, the Portland Timbers today announced that they once again will be offering the opportunity to participate in the popular axe portrait photo shoot, originally introduced in 2011 for the team’s inaugural MLS season.
The Timbers will be conducting three free fan photo shoots during two separate weekends on a first-come, first-serve basis, open to the public, at Providence Park. Fans are asked to enter through Gate D located at the northeast corner of the stadium on 18th Ave. The first weekend is scheduled for Saturday, Jan.
