In a move that many fans have been calling for, and something that many stadiums across the country have already adopted, the Portland Timbers and Portland Thorns announced today the proof of vaccination against COVID-19 will be required to enter Providence Park, starting on August 25.
All fans 12 years and older will need to present valid proof of vaccination upon entry for matches starting on the above date. Acceptable forms of proof include a valid CDC vaccination card showing full vaccination status, a photocopy of the card, or a photo of the card on a mobile device.
