The Portland Timbers announced today that they have signed goalkeeper Logan Ketterer to a season-long loan for the rest of the 2021 season. He is being loaned from USL Championship side El Paso Locomotive FC, where he’s been their starting goalkeeper for the past three seasons.
During his time with El Paso, Ketterer logged 22 clean sheets in 55 starts, helping his side reach the USL playoffs in their inaugural season in 2019.
Ketterer has also had some previous experience with an MLS side. Drafted by Columbus SC in the 2017 Superdraft, he spent the 2017 and 2018 seasons with the Ohio side.
