PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland Timbers midfielder Eryk Williamson has been named to the U.S. Men’s National Team roster for the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup. Williamson will report to Kansas City, Kan., on July 5 for training camp with the team.
Williamson, 23, has made 10 appearances (eight starts) for the Timbers this season, tallying one goal and two assists. Notably, he earned MLS Team of the Week honors (week five) for his two-assist performance in a 2-0 win over the San Jose Earthquakes on May 15. During the 2020 MLS regular season, Williamson scored three goals and tallied five assists in a career-high 21 appearances (17 starts) for Portland.
