PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland Timbers defender Marco Farfan has been called in by the U.S. Men’s National Team for an international friendly against El Salvador on Dec. 9 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., it was announced today.
U.S. Men’s National Team head coach Gregg Berhalter has called 22 players to training camp in South Florida ahead of the USMNT’s last competitive match of 2020 against El Salvador on Dec. 9 at 4:30 p.m. (Pacific). The match will be broadcast live on an ESPN Network, UniMás and TUDN.
Farfan, 22, is the first product of the Timbers Academy to earn a call up to the senior men’s national team, and has previously represented the United States at the youth level.
