PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland Thorns FC and midfielder Andressinha have mutually agreed to part ways, it was announced today.
“We are fully supportive of her returning to Brazil in search of more playing time,” said Gavin Wilkinson, general manager and president of soccer for Thorns FC.
In 2019, Andressinha appeared in seven games (four starts) for Portland in her second season. She tallied one goal and started in her first career NWSL playoff game in the semifinals against the Chicago Red Stars.
“To all the staff, my teammates and the fans in Portland, you welcomed me in an heartwarming way during my time with the club,” said Andressinha.
