PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland Thorns FC today announced that forward Hayley Raso will be sidelined for 6-8 weeks with a back injury. Raso suffered a non-displaced fracture of the transverse processes of L2, L3 and L4 during the club’s 1-0 win on the road against the Washington Spirit on Aug. 25.
Raso will conduct her rehabilitation with Thorns FC sports medicine staff at Providence Park and at the Providence Sports Care Center.
Raso, 23, now in her third season with Thorns FC, has appeared in 12 games (9 starts) during the 2018 season, tallying two goals and two assists.
