PORTLAND, Ore. – T2 midfielder Villyan Bijev earned USL All-League First-Team honors for the 2016 season, it was announced today.
Bijev, 23, was named to his first USL All-League First Team after leading the league and setting a new team record for assists (10), while ranking first on the team in goals scored (8) during the 2016 regular season. Additionally, Bijev led T2 in games played (29), shots (67), shots on goal (31) and ranked second on the team in minutes played (2,015).
In the final 10 games of the season, the midfielder tallied seven goals and seven assists and led the team to a five-game winning streak to end the season.
