Stand Together Week 2017 Day 6 & 7 | #STWeek wraps up with food banking and playground upkeep

As a long and successful week comes to a close, Timbers, Thorns FC, and T2 players will wrap up their Stand Together Week volunteerism with two final service projects

Community ambassadors Jack Jewsbury and Nat Borchers will team up with Thorns goalkeeper Britt Eckerstrom, Timber Joey, and volunteers from Daimler and Providence Health & Services to assist Oregon Food Bank on Friday. The crew plans to repack bulk food into family-sized portions, which will later go on to be distributed to communities in need.

On Saturday, members of New Relic will meet Jewsbury and Timber Joey at Harper’s Playground, to weed, plant flowers, remove graffiti, and generally beautify a space for children of all abilities.
