Obafemi Martins, the Nigerian striker for the Seattle Sounders, will move to a club in China, BBC Sport reported early Sunday.
Martins, 31, scored 43 goals in 84 appearances for Seattle since joining the Sounders in 2013.
There were rumors he'd be moving out of MLS in a variety of scenarios.
Martins kept the Cascadia Cup rivalry lively and was a significant part of one of the weirdest U.S. Open Cup matches in recent memory.
He scored a goal against the Timbers in last season's tantrum-fest at the U.
